Local Warfare Re: Portable is a free action game for mobile developed by indie developer Dazed. It is a LAN-based multiplayer first-person shooter that hosts matches between friends and family connected to the same local network. It has two modes to choose from and supports bot-controlled characters.

Old-school LAN party

Local Warfare Re: Portable's gameplay is reminiscent of the days of classic multiplayer shooters like Counter-Strike that were played using the same local area network. It allows matches of up to 32 players and a choice between PVP or PVE mode, with the latter relying on bots-controlled teammates and five difficulty levels.

It also features ragdoll physics for more realistic animations and character movements. This is complemented by good graphics and modest system requirements that even low-end devices can meet and run well. The game hasn't received any updates for a while, so don't expect anything new to come out soon.

No internet required

If you like competitive multiplayer shooters but don't have a particularly fast connection, Local Warfare RE: Portable is a title worth considering. It offers two game modes, can run on almost any hardware, and most importantly, it works offline. Hopefully, new updates will come soon. Other than that, it gets a recommendation.
