Live for Speed APK - When we first saw the screenshots of Live for Speed we were impressed because they were great and we immediately downloaded the game to test it.
The game offers us a lot of settings to configure our car, and change the pilot's name, plate, and color... and it can be controlled with a mouse, keyboard or gamepad. In Live for Speed, you can race alone or against the AI, but the real fun is in the online, multiplayer mode. The community is so big that you can play with people whenever you want, so it's a lot of fun.
When you start your engine and get on the track, it feels very real, but we wish it gave a feeling of more speed, when you're driving at 120 mph it feels slow.
Racing simulator for hardcore drivers!
Live for Speed is a racing game for those who like things difficult. There are no driving aids and no arcade mode to satisfy the casual user!
The game is great. The tutorial will take some time, and it's not easy, and that's before the racing. You steer with the mouse, and things like gears are on the keyboard. Mouse steering is never ideal, but the developers say that if you're serious enough about driving, you'll have a steering wheel!
This isn't ideal for most users, so you'll have to make do with the mouse. The graphics are very good, with good vehicle models, realistic sound, and good handling. What is annoying about the racing is that the computer AI is very rigid. Other cars stick to the racing line like glue, and if you're out of position they won't avoid you but will push you, often resulting in a spin.
This demo has 3 cars and a track, and the difficulty level means it's plenty to get started with. A lot of care has certainly gone into Live for Speed, but unless you're a race perfectionist, you'll struggle to understand it.
Live for Speed is a good-looking simulator that doesn't overlook its shortcomings in terms of being realistic.
