Pitting multiple traditional and unconventional factions against each other, Squad aims to create authentic war experiences using the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself. Choose a side and become a member of a nine-man squad with your team and face up to 50 other players in an intense, large combat environment. Squads include the US Army, Russian Ground Forces, British Army, Canadian Armed Forces, Middle Eastern Coalition and irregular militias and insurgents, all with their own unique arsenals.
Construction System
Do you hear the sound of rumbling and grinding gears? Do you fear the inevitability of your short life at the end of a T-72 Main Battle Tank barrel? Ask your squad leader to place an anti-tank guided missile system and remove that annoying tank from the battlefield. In Squad, we offer a variety of ways to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the battlefield. Place emplacements such as HMGs and AT guns, or build a fortified position with sandbags, HESCO and razor wire.
Communications
The pinnacle of the squad experience, communications is a soldier's best tool in effectively engaging the enemy. To help navigate the complexity of communications on the battlefield, we provide a world-class in-game VoIP system that allows you to talk to other soldiers locally, internally in your squad, between squad leaders, or from squad leaders to the commander. Plus, we provide a variety of other tools that fire team leaders and squad leaders can use to keep their squads and teams informed, such as map tools and in-world marking tools.
