YouTube Vanced is dead, but we will always love how easy it made things for all YouTube fans. Still, we can't just sit around and wait for it to come back when there are so many other good options with equal or even better features. The YouTube ReVanced APK, which is the original replacement, has been one of the most-awaited alternatives to Vanced. Even though this app is still in its early stages, it has the basic YouTube Vanced tools and some very good patches that keep the Vanced legacy alive. This post will tell you everything you need to know about the YouTube ReVanced App.

What Is YouTube ReVanced APK?

YouTube ReVanced is a free, personalized YouTube client that is meant to replace the now-defunct YouTube Vanced. It does this by giving users the same app features as YouTube Vanced as well as some extra modes. It also has ReVanced Music, which lets users watch their favorite music genre while getting all the benefits of YouTube Music Premium. But the ReVanced APK is still in its early stages, so you can't get it as an APK. Instead, you can use a builder to make your own app.

Features

It can be used instead of YouTube

You can download Revanced as a second YouTube app on your Android device, just like you can with YouTube Vanced, unless you'd rather delete the original app. With this function, users can switch back to the old version if they need to fix bugs in the new, but unfinished, Revanced app.

Since the official Revanced APK hasn't been released yet, people aren't sure if it will work with the original YouTube app. Several places say that you might need to remove the original YouTube app before you can install Revanced, but I couldn't find any proof of that.

Works on Both Root and Non-Root Devices

You can run YouTube Revamped on both root and non-root devices by following a few simple steps. Still, when Android users learned that the official app wasn't out yet, many of them gave up on the idea of making their own Revanced APK.

You can't blame them—extracting these files and making your own app doesn't sound as fun, especially if you're used to just getting and installing the APK. Also, many users think that these kinds of processes are only for devices that have been rooted, which isn't true with YouTube Advanced.

Disabled Ads

Revanced lets users turn off general and video ads on the app, so they don't get interrupted while watching their content. This makes it easy for users to have a better time with the app by making viewing easy and smooth. I know that these ads are important, especially for the people whose work I'm interested in.

But I can't help but get annoyed when I have to watch an ad that I can't skip in order for my video to play. Also, what if I needed urgent information from a video, but YouTube surprised me with three ads that had nothing to do with what I was looking for? Think about how bad that would be.

Scene setting

You can watch a YouTube movie and use other apps at the same time without having to split the screen. It's helpful for people who want to do other things like browse the web or talk on the phone while watching a movie on a floating screen in the background. Users can also move the floating screen anywhere on their Android screen while using other apps, or they can minimize it and only listen to the audio version of the movie.

This feature is very helpful for podcast fans like me when I have work to do on my phone but don't want to miss any interesting information from these sessions. It also helps you save data when you have to do chores and can only listen to the audio of movies.

Helps with MicroG

MicroG let you sign in to your Google account and see all of your settings from YouTube Vanced, and it now does the same for YouTube Revanced. Users who finish building their Revised version and want to access all their YouTube accounts, channels, liked videos, or material from their favorite creators without using the original app will find this feature useful. Still, you'll need to build Revanced and download MicroG separately because the YouTube alternative hasn't been made available as an APK that you can install straight from MicroG.

Custom-Branding

In the Revamped app, you can now change the picture and name of the YouTube launcher to whatever you want. Custom-branding changes the way people think about open-source customization by giving users full power over the interface and letting them make their own platform. This feature also makes you feel good about the changes you made and makes you want to open the app every time just to see what you made.

The Best Heading

For a real look, the Revanced app shows the premium logo for YouTube Premium users. The benefit for users is that they can't tell the difference between Revanced and the original YouTube Premium subscription unless they change the branding on the site. You can also choose to hide the original YouTube app and use Revanced instead, which will give you full access to all paid features.

Hide Creator’s watermark

Creators can add their logo to all of the videos on their site by using a branding watermark. With the YouTube Revamped APK, you can instantly hide this logo from all videos, so you can see the full video without the logo. Users can watch any material without ads and see the video from every angle. Still, these watermarks help people remember the brand and stop video theft, which is when someone steals a creator's videos and passes them off as their own work.

Remove Full-Screen Panels

With this function, you can turn off the description and comments panel when the video is playing in fullscreen mode. Users will like this feature if they want to watch a movie without any panels or settings popping up while they watch. Because of this, users can stream without interruption and see everything on the app.

Hide-Get-Premium

If you don't have YouTube paid, every time you open the app, you see a "Get Premium" splash screen that tells you to sign up for a paid account. But YouTube Revamped already gives you Premium features for free, so the "Get Premium" screen can be hidden inside the app. So, there's no way to prove that the YouTube account you're using isn't a paid one.

Sponsorblock

With YouTube Revamped, you can skip the ads in every movie on the site. This feature helps cut down on the time spent before the content starts showing off endorsements, sponsorships, subscription requests, and so on. Sponsored segments help a third party market their brand, message, or product without making it a part of the content. But it takes up some of the movie, so the viewer's streaming time is cut short.

Return YouTube Dislike

In November 2021, YouTube took the hate count off of every video on its site. With this change, only the people who made the movie could see how many people didn't like it. With the YouTube Revamped APK, which turns on RYD integration to bring back the dislike view count, you can undo this change. This lets people know what other people think about a video and helps them decide if it's worth their time to watch.

Autorepeat-By-Default

You can now set videos to play over and over when they stop. Users don't have to walk over to their phones and physically start the videos over. Also, if you're listening to good music while doing something else, you don't have to stop what you're doing to hear the song again.

HDR-Auto-Brightness

Revanced can play HDR movies in the device-supported auto-brightness mode. This mode gives streamers the best brightness settings for high dynamic range movies on the platform, which makes for the best streaming experience. Adjusting the brightness to the best levels also saves your eyes from the glare of the screen and keeps them from straining.

Drag the Controls

During fullscreen viewing, you can use swipes to change the brightness and volume on Revamped. Instead of manually turning up the volume on your phone, you can change the brightness and volume of your present video by swiping up or down on each side of the screen. These swipe actions free up room on the screen that would have been taken up by clickable icons for the video functions.

Custom-Playback-Speed

Most YouTube videos can be played at speeds between 0.5X and 1.5X. But with the YouTube Revamped APK, you can change the usual playback speed settings and make them fit your needs. Users can change the speed of their videos to make them go faster or slower than the default speed, based on what they want to do.

Amoled

Amoled gives your YouTube Revamped app a black look, just like the dark mode in the original YouTube APK. The theme uses less power while showing dark backgrounds and lessens the amount of light given off by the device. This helps protect the user's eyes from glare and eases eye pain.

Disable-Shorts-Button

With this mode, you can turn off YouTube ads in your Revamped APK. YouTube Shorts let people make videos in less time, which improves the quality and quantity of the videos they post. But I can't stop watching them because, unlike most YouTube videos, they are always short and to the point. This makes them more fun. When I watch short videos on TikTok for hours on end, I sometimes need a break, and this feature is the best way to do that. Now, you can look at important videos without having to watch all the shorts.

Old-Quality-Layout

Some people don't like change at all, no matter how small it is. I don't blame them, because sometimes it's hard to get used to changes. So, YouTube Revanced lets you choose an old look as long as it works with your device. There are 240p, 480p, 1080p, 1440p, and more choices.

Enable-Debugging

Sometimes bugs slow down your apps or cause errors that cause other problems. This tool helps fix the problem. With the Revanced APK, the app's debugging is set up instantly and works while you're streaming to find the errors and work on fixing them.
